Marathon Catering Terms & Conditions


Payment is due in full upon delivery. We accept many forms of payment for your convenience including all major credit cards, corporate checks, and cash.


No cancellations or refunds will be granted after 3p.m. the day before your order is due.


Delivery charges vary according to location. Ask a sales representative for more information.


Setup is no worry. Our goal is to make it as easy on you as possible, our delivery personnel will set up everything to your standards. Need something cleaned up? Not a problem, just let us know when to be back!


Equipment is provided with every order. Disposable paper goods, flatware, and condiments are provided at no charge. In addition, if your order contains hot food or beverage, we will supply disposable containers and disposable chaffing dishes. Should your event require something a little more special, stainless steel equipment can be substituted for a small fee. Formal flatware, china, linens, and floral arrangements are available upon request.


Same day orders are available for an additional service charge of $5.


Gratuity is included in your bill; all additional gratuities are left to your discretion.

How do I place my catering order?
We accept catering orders via phone at (215) 561-0500 and email through catering@eatmarathon.com, whichever works best for you.

What are Marathon Catering’s hours of operation?
Our catering representatives are eager to help you Monday through Friday 6am-6pm.

How far ahead do I need to place my order?
We request at least 24 hours notice for you order. Same day orders are based upon availability and incur a $5 service charge. We understand that things come up and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs. In order to supply the best quality of service, we request all same day orders be placed by 10am.

What is the minimum number of people required for placing a catering order?
In general, we require a minimum of 5 people for all orders. For weekend delivery orders, we request a minimum of $150 per order.

What is supplied with my order?
Equipment is provided with every order. Disposable paper goods, flatware, and condiments are provided at no charge. In addition, if your order contains hot food or beverage, we will supply disposable containers and disposable chaffing dishes.

What is the delivery window?
Our delivery window is our guarantee to you that we will have your order in your hands within the designated time slot. We typically arrange for a 30min window to provide our best service to you.

How do I handle payment and when is it due?
Payment is due in full upon delivery. We accept many forms of payment for your convenience including all major credit cards, corporate checks, cash, and Marathon house accounts.

Do I need to tip my delivery person?
Gratuity is included in your bill. Any additional gratuities are left to your discretion.

What if I need to cancel my order?
Cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours in advance of your delivery window for no additional charge. Weekend orders must be cancelled 48 hours in advance. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the order.

What if my party requires special staff?
We are always happy to provide additional staff upon request, including bartenders, servers, and chefs. Please contact a catering representative for more information.

I have special requests I need to include, can you accommodate them?
Accommodating special requests and dietary needs is never a problem. We will best be able to meet your special needs if provided 24 hours notice. Please inform your representative of any special requests you may have while placing your order.

Is it possible to order items that are not listed on the menu?
Our chefs enjoy the chance to help and love the opportunity to be creative. Tell us what you need and help us keep them on their toes.
